As the county’s leading nature conservation charity, Staffordshire Wildlife Trust has the expertise and experience to support you through every stage of the Biodiversity Net Gain process.
We offer the following services:
- Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) site assessment*
- Habitat, Management and Monitoring Plans (HMMP)*
- Support in finding a suitable site to deliver BNG offsite*
- Setting up a Conservation Covenant and monitoring BNG habitat restoration**

Landowners and managers
If you're a landowner or manager, using your land to provide Biodiversity Units can provide a long-term, reliable income stream, while supporting nature at the same time.
We offer a free initial telephone consultation in which we will find out more about your landholding and advise on its viability to provide Biodiversity Units.
